Do we survive death

Yes i believe that as a christian you can survive death, as a christian i mean having given your life to the lord and having accepted him as your personal lord and saviour. I was raised in a pentecostal christian home and i truly believe that the only way to an eternal life after death is to give your life to the lord and that is an eternal life in heaven.I believe everybody will be judged according to their deeds here on earth, but then a very interesting question comes in, what if you live a good life here on earth helping the poor and not doing any harm to anybody will you still survive death,because christianity says unless you repent of your sins and ask God to become your lord and survive after you die you will not go to heaven.So personaly i believe the only way we survive death is through christ.
